The Ethical Consumer Group will be running a ‘Shopping with a Conscience’ talk and shopping tour. The event will begin at the Environment Resource Centre at Altona Library with a presentation on principles and issues surrounding the ‘real’ cost of shopping, followed by a stroll through the aisles at the local supermarket where participants put theory to practice. Afterwards, there is a light meal created by all the well chosen purchases at Altona Library. Cost is $5.00 for lunch (free for those who don't stay for lunch).
